CVS Coupons

Everyone who knows me knows that I love CVS & play the CVS addictively, when I have the time. Their email today included a few coupons that I wanted to share:

.. Of freebies that is! Here we go:

May seems to be a month full of freebies, many stores & restaraunts seem to be hosting freebie days, below are several that I have dug up that are supposed to be nationwide and not limited regionally.

May 18th Noon-5pm... It is rumored that Walmart SuperCenters (Yay! We have one!) will be giving out free ice cream sundaes while supplies last! Flavors and toppings include: Blue Bunny Premium Tracks, Breyers Chocolate Crackle, Edy's Loaded Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Hershey's Chocolate Syrup, Smucker's Triple Berry Sauce, Reddi-Wip Original, and Keebler Sandies Cookies. Sounds good to me!

Thurs May 15 7 am-10:30 am McDonald's is giving away free Southern Style Chicken Biscuits w/ the purchase of a medium or large drink. Considering you can do the $1 large tea, this is awesome!! Okay now here's the second part, from 10:30 am-7pm, they are offering a free Southern Style Chicken Sandwich w/ the purchase of a medium or large drink. Free chicken day! Read more here.

Hi Everyone, just wanted to apologize for my absence. As most of you know, I'm preparing for my husband's absence with the Air Force and between that, school, my babies, etc, I just haven't had the energy to get online. Baby Bottles & BPA

I know that the scare on BPA baby bottles has seemingly exploded today. I want to quickly share this sample for a FREE Playtex baby bottle w/ no BPA sample. They're giving out a million free. Also, here is their products and a list showing how much BPA they contain. I will follow up more tonight.. but for now, this is a great sample.

3 Random Things About Me

1) I am starting to think I am sort of OCD.. I literally feel guilty if I do not put every tiny scrape of paper that I have in recycling bins to take to the center. This also includes each tiny plastic bottle, glass, anything. I am even contemplating whether they can take used paper towels and recycle them. Crazy, huh? I am also driving myself NUTS to have every tiny inch of the house organized and looking it's best. All of this and no energy to do it with, wow right? lol

2) I am so incredibly afraid of spiders or any other mean looking buggies.

3) I love to make "art" this includes painting, collaging (which I've always loved!), scrapbooking, cooking,etc. Even homemaking is an art that I enjoy. I hope to paint more soon, as all these lovely things are floating around in my mind. I am leaning on arts & crafts, to keep me busy at night when Daniel leaves.

Food Lion!(Hear Me Roar)

Food Lion has really became my best friend this week in getting lots for your money.
I'm not sure how long this sale will be going on, or if it's regional, but for the later part of this week as well as today, Food Lion had some kickin' deals. I guess the best part is the freebies I racked up on, very good because I had NO money to shop with this week. Here Goes:

1. Clorox GreenWorks natural cleaning products 2/ $5=I have been dying to try these since my dr. recommended them for my little man's asthma, but they were always too high. This week, in addition to being 2/$5 w/ a MVP card, they came with a green little rectangle that turned out to be a reusable shopping bag! Yay! I opened it up and *EVEN BETTER* it included these coupons!

.50/1 GreenWorks natural cleaning product
.50/1 Scott Naturals Towels, Single Roll
$1/1 Scott Naturals bath tissue, 4 pk
$2/1 Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (75ct twin pk or 105ct single)

So what's a girl to do? This:
I used my MVP card to get these 2 for $5. I also used the two coupons inside the bag to bring my total down to $3.50 for 2 products! In addition to that, by using a $2 off next order I got from my cheese earlier (more later) I got 2 GreenWorks products for $1.50. Now that's the way to make it happen! Tried the products and LOVED them, so, went back and repeated the same thing. Now I have 2 reusable grocery bags and got 4 products for $3.00. Not to mention the other coupons I'm hanging onto for the next deal!

2. Fresh Ripe Cantaloupes: 97 cents for one lovely round cantaloupe. I bought one and tried it, my daughter pretty much ate the entire thing at once and it excited me into buying another. Since they are $3 each regularly, I bought another to freeze for later.

3. Food Lion yellow cornbread: 49 cents per pouch. I am not sure HOW this one happened, but I accidentally looked over the fact my $2/4 Food Lion Yellow corn breads cpn said boxes and not pouches. When I went to checkout, the coupon worked for 2 transactions. Get the coupon here. (Scroll down and click on the coupon, if a pop up is blocked, right click it and allow it to show pop ups, enter times to duplicate, but pls. be tasteful.)

4.Free Bakery Products up to $4.99: This coupon is on the same site as the cornbread one. With one coupon, you are given up to $4.99 of FL bakery items. Many of these items are VERY cheap so one coupon got me 2 garlic bread loaves and some lovely artisan bread! I also got Rocky Road Fudge w/ another *mmmmm* I needed that little treat!

I also picked up more free baby wipes and Gerber Graduates sippy cups. GUESS WHAT? Inside the sippy cup was $10 worth of Gerber Coupons that allowed me to "buy" more baby accessories for a girl at my church who is the single mother of 2 babies already, pregnant w/ the 3 (possibly twins!) who has no one else to help her. There is nothing like being able to help others. Nothing.

PS: For more on the free baby wipes, see my post on Organization just a few days ago. The wipes were orginally priced at $1.49 and were marked down to 99 cents, making it possible to nearly get 2 packs free per coupon! So awesome!
